My Shave-Free Summer, Day 46

I scared a woman today. Practically scared the makeup right off her face. This is somebody I know, somebody who wouldn't normally be frightened of me (I would think).

Could it have been because of the beard? Maybe. Could it have been because I'd been standing next to her undetected for 30 seconds in an effort to humorously startle her? There's an argument there, too.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I'm not trying to look scary with this beard. I couldn't even if I WAS. It only exists because I'm protesting having to shave. We may never know how Patricia reacts if I'd used a razor recently. What I do know: I'm glad she wasn't carrying any pepper spray.
